What are you looking for in WoW?:
Having a good time playing with others online, RL friends or not, and to Help other players have a similar experience.
What are you looking for in a guild?:
I'm Looking for a guild that participates in alot of Instance Runs, and Raids. The reason for this is because i joined the previous guild i was in because my RL friend
(Grasp-Level 80-Arcane Mage, Who also is appying for this guild) gave me an invitation to join the Guild he was in, and that was as early as Level 15. With no one ever doing any instances or Raids at the time, and fairly rude players with only a handful of polite, experienced players, the guild seemed only useful to me for the Guild Bank which, was always filled up (Yet never had items i found useful) and the Guild Armor repairs (Which had a rather small pool of cash to repair from in the first place). Pretty much, what im here for is to take the Instancing and Raiding experience i've missed out on throughout the whole time i've been playing, and to have a group of experienced players teach me the basics of raiding, and my role as a Tank in a raid.
What guilds have you been in? Describe your experiences in them and why you left.:
The name of the previous guild i was in (First and Only guild i have ever been in by the way) was Vicious Hordelicious. It was a good guild for leveling up through, but some of the higher-leveled players were fairly rude, while the lower-leveled players were constantly begging to have run-throughs of instances. While there IS good, experienced, and polite players in Vicious Hordelicious, they were mostly the people who had stayed with the guild throughout its whole existence. We never planned raids, and most instances were from Pick-up Groups. As i said before, it was only good for equipment repairs, and the constantly full Guild Bank. A good guild for leveling up, but definitley not a good guild for a enjoyable End-game experience.
If you have multiple alts 65-80, would you be willing to substitute them in to instance and raid runs instead of your main, if necessary?:
Yes
What makes you a player that would enrich PtV?:
I think i would make a good player and a great addition to the Guild roster because i am a nearly level-capped Protection Warrior that is set on taking on the Role of a tank. I had just switched from Fury Spec and i am still getting a grasp on tanking, but i am determined to learn and i am very cooperative in groups.
Describe yourself and your playstyle.:
I am very oriented towards PvE and soloing, occasionally doing Instances (i try to as often as i can) but not experienced in raiding, due to the guild i was in before. As a newly respecced Protection Warrior, i have a grasp on how my class works while playing PvE or when im soloing, but have not yet made use of my protection skills in a group larger than 3 people and tanking is a ability i have my sights set on mastering. About myself personally, i am 15 years old, i play guitar and sing, and the creation of music itself is an art i enjoy and that i wish to pursue as a career. (Who knows, i might even make it big. Highly Unlikely.) IF that doesnt work out, i wish to convert all the concept songs ive written over the years and make them into short stories, perhaps becoming a author.
How did you learn about PtV (guild member, in-game chat, WoW forums)?:
I knew about it already just by seeing members in major cities, but a friend of mine, Sinfulxx, had switched through a few different guilds, and recommended PTV when she had settled on a guild. Unhappy with the guild i had at the time, i quit it immidiatley with an RL friend, and we decided to try out PTV.
I have read, understand, and agree with the goals and charter set forth in the About PtV section.:
Yes
