Sorry I didn't raid tonight. I know I had told some peeps that I was gonna raid but it has been a really ruff week for me. I just found out my dad has cancer in his bladder and next monday has to get it removed. Needless to say I really wasn't up for raiding. Maybe next week.

Sorry to hear that man. Have faith - my Dad had that same thing in 2001, now cancer free for 9 years. Chin up!

I understand completely what you're going through. I lost my mother to cancer in 2001. My father had kidney cancer although it was successfully removed and he's been free since 2003. Now my grandmother has stage 4 liver and lung cancer.
My grandmother is not expected to live much longer but her strength and her tenacity have illustrated to me it's not so much the length of your life and the quality with which you imbue it. She is one of the bravest people I have ever known and the way she has handled this is awe-inspiring.
Simply be there for your father. He'll come through this surgery and just make sure that you use it as a reminder of his importance and a new corner around which is a new appreciation of him.

well it was a long day today but a good one. My dad's tumor was 5cm and they didnt have to remove any of his bladder. The pathologists will find out by next week what kind and stage of cancer it is and the will determine whether or not the doctor will have to remove any parts of his bladder. Oh and fyi incase you didnt know, number one cause of bladder cancer......smoking.
